Jordan to the Jordaan

Recently we spent a few weeks cycling from Amman in Jordan to the Jordaan in Amsterdam. It was an extremely enjoyable and eye-opening trip, not least because of the ongoing difficulties in Syria but also by the huge contrasts between the countries that we cycled through. One thing remained the same though: the warm welcome and interest that we received wherever we were.
